Sara Ananrojwong

Multidisciplinary Artist and Founder of Floral Reef & Co

Sara Ananrojwong is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores connections between people and the natural world through diverse creative mediums. Her work investigates the intersection of nature, culture, and human experience through floral art, spatial design, and narrative-led storytelling.

Working with natural materials, photography, and reflective writing, she examines how aesthetic expression and mindful practices can foster emotional connection, cultural awareness, and a deeper sense of care for the environment. Through her work, she seeks to cultivate appreciation for the natural world while supporting emotional well-being within contemporary life.

Her upbringing in Bangkok, Thailand, shaped Sara’s approach to artistic practice. Born and raised in a historic Chinese commercial district, she developed a strong cultural foundation rooted in Chinese heritage and urban life.

She earned a Bachelor of Architecture with First Class Honours from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, where she formed her design approach and artistic identity. Her thesis project, The Mangrove Forest Conservation Museum, explored cultural and environmental contexts, which examined the relationship between nature and the industrial city and proposed ways for them to coexist. Professionally, Sara worked at Architects 49 Limited, where she contributed to large-scale international commercial and residential projects. Her experience spanned from early-stage programming through to construction.

To further develop her international experience, Sara completed a Master of Science in Marketing at the University of Edinburgh. Since graduating, she has focused on nature-based materials and cultural storytelling through art. Alongside her creative practice, she has gained insight into the Scottish market through her work as a luxury fashion stylist and department manager.
