Creating Floral Styling for a pastel linen
I had the pleasure of designing a floral installation for a locally designed clothing brand in Thailand known for its playful spirit and vibrant colour palette. For their new collection, featuring light, breathable linen garments in soft shades of mint green, baby blue, peach, and white, the creative director approached me with a vision: to create a floral scene that would complement and elevate the collection's relaxed, joyful essence.
After receiving the full brief and understanding the brand’s ethos, I set out to design a fresh flower installation that reflected both the softness and the liveliness of the clothing. I curated flowers in pastel tones to mirror the gentle hues of the collection, and paired them with pops of vivid colour to bring an unexpected energy into the frame, enhancing both contrast and harmony.
The installation featured a mix of large standing floral structures, smaller sculptural pieces, and handheld bouquets for the models, along with a decorative floral backdrop that framed the shoot in a playful yet elegant way.
Every element was thoughtfully arranged to create a scene that felt both natural and curated, allowing the garments to shine while infusing the shoot with a sense of storytelling.
This project became a turning point in my creative journey, pushing me beyond my comfort zone of traditional bouquets. It challenged me to think in scale, spatial composition, and colour palette in a new way, while staying true to the brand’s joyful and expressive identity.
It was a beautiful example of how floral art and fashion design can meet, enhancing each other to create a shared narrative of style, nature, and imagination.
