Hidey House
Floral Installation for a Cafe Event
Category: Installation
Materials: Fresh FlowersA Cozy Bloom for Hidey House Café
This installation was designed for the opening of my friend’s café, a warm and welcoming space that feels just like being in a friend’s home. From the beginning, the heart of the café was clear: it was about comfort, community, and joy. My floral work was there to gently amplify those feelings.
The interior of the café featured rich brown wood textures and soft pastel green walls, giving the space a cozy and grounded charm. My aim was to complement her interior design with flowers that felt both joyful and refined, while also aligning with the café’s playful brand personality.
For this installation, I chose a vibrant palette of violet, orange, and warm yellow tones that brought energy and brightness into the room while maintaining a soft, welcoming atmosphere.
Each flower was arranged with a minimal and thoughtful approach, allowing the colors to shine and the shapes to breathe. The compositions were kept light and airy, making the floral pieces feel like a natural extension of the space.
This project was a celebration of new beginnings and meaningful connections, a floral gesture that brought color, warmth, and personality to a space built with heart.
