Coral-Inspired The First Collection

This was the very first collection I designed under ‘The Floral Reef Bangkok’ name, the previous name of Floral Reef & Co, and it holds a special place in my heart. Deeply inspired by the delicate forms and living colours of coral reefs, the collection was born from my admiration for the ocean and the quiet strength of underwater ecosystems. I wanted to translate that feeling, of softness, rhythm, and organic harmony, into a floral language on land.
The designs reflected the textures and structures found in coral formations: branching shapes, soft folds, and clustered blooms. I carefully selected a vintage-inspired colour palette, with muted pinks, soft terracottas, dusty lilacs, and gentle creams, tones that speak to both nostalgia and nature’s timeless beauty.
Sustainability was at the heart of this collection. All of the fresh flowers chosen for this collection were 100% suitable for drying, meaning they could be cherished long after their natural bloom had faded.
It was important to me that the beauty of each arrangement lived on, transforming, rather than disappearing, with time. Alongside flower selections, I worked primarily with paper flowers, crafted to mimic the movement and detail of natural blooms while reducing waste and impact on the environment. Every piece was assembled by hand, each petal shaped with intention.
This collection marks the beginning of my journey, where floral design meets storytelling, where art blooms from purpose, and where admiration for the natural world becomes something you can hold in your hands.
