    Mindful Spring Floral Arrangement Workshop 
As spring arrives after the stillness of winter, Floral Reef & Co created a mindful floral arrangement workshop, inviting participants to reconnect with the changing season through flowers and natural materials. Inspired by the softness and vibrancy of spring stems, the session encouraged participants to slow down, observe, and engage creatively with nature. The workshop was held at a maker market organised by Support the Makers UK, held at George Watson's College in Edinburgh.

Rooted in expressive and mindful art-making practice, the workshop was designed to create a gentle space for self-reflection and personal expression. Participants were invited to consider their emotions, thoughts, and intuitive responses, translating them into floral compositions through guided arrangement-making.



The workshop explored seasonal spring flowers arranged in Japanese-inspired water basins using floral foam techniques, allowing stems to move naturally with softness and balance. This flower-making practice is designed to suit beginners of all levels. Through colour, texture, and composition, each participant created an individual floral artwork shaped by their own interpretation and creativity.

Guided by Sara Ananrojwong, founder of Floral Reef & Co, the experience focused on creating a creative, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where participants could engage with flowers as a medium for reflection, presence, and connection.
