Founder & Floral Stylist
Sara is a floral stylist based in Edinburgh. Born and raised in Bangkok, she grew up surrounded by the blended cultures of her Thai-Chinese heritage, which continue to shape her creative vision. With a background in architectural design, Sara's approach to floristry is influenced by a love of space and artistic expression.Her designs are informed by seasonal inspiration and reflect a personal floral technique rooted in Korean floral arrangement theory. Each arrangement is carefully composed to honor both the fragility and the resilience of natural forms.
Her passion lies in creating memorable moments and meaningful atmospheres for life’s special occasions. Whether it’s a celebration, a gesture of love, or a message of encouragement, she believes that flowers have the power to convey deep emotions and leave a lasting impression.
From Bangkok to Edinburgh
Floral Reef & Co first began with a fascination for coral reefs, nature’s own intricate gardens beneath the sea. Their stunning array of colours and organic forms, some vivid and vibrant, others soft and monochromatic, became the foundation of the studio’s creative vision. Our works are made by carefully selecting flowers, stems, and foliage that echo the wild beauty of the natural world, crafting floral arrangements that feel alive and quietly elegant.The studio grew out of The Floral Reef Bangkok, a small dream that blossomed during my last year in the University, til now it’s over five years. Now based in Edinburgh, I decide to shift the name to suit with this new beginning. Floral Reef & Co represents its new beginning, where creativity, culture, and community come into full bloom.
With this new beginning, you might notice a few shifts: slightly different flowers, topics, and inspirations as I explore more of the UK and beyond. I’ll be sharing more of my floral journey, the places I visit, and the stories behind every stem and petal.

‘Co’ stands for connection, community, collaboration, culture, and creativity. It represents the people I work with, the local makers I support, and the shared values that shape this business. But it’s also intentionally open-ended. It can mean something different to everyone.
